Note: I did have this request posted - 'Has anybody any ideas as to Morfa Mawr is or was?'  See my notes below.


ABERAYRON: Temporary aerodrome      (Now spelt as ABERAERON)
 

Operated by: Alan Cobham’s National Aviation Day UK Display Tour

Location: Morfa Mawr near Aberayron  (see below)

Period of operation: 30th August 1932
 

NOTES: In late May 2016 I was contacted by Gary Bint who kindly informed me that Morfa Mawr is a farm west of the village of Llan-non on the A487 which is roughly 3.5 nm NE of Aberaeron.
