Note: This map only shows the location of Adderbury village within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact position for the airstrip, this advice will be most welcome. 



ADDERBURY: Military aerodrome

Military user: US First Army ‘VII’ Corps 58th & 87th Armoured Field Artillery Battalions
 

Location: In/near Adderbury village which is at the junction of the A4260 and AB4100 about 3nm S of Banbury town centre

Period of operation: 1944/5 only?
 

NOTES: Two Piper L-4A Grasshoppers were based here?
