Adlingfield

Note: This map is only my guess at a rough location within the UK. This being centered on Adlingfleet. As a general rule, finding a similar name in about the general area expected within the UK normally indicates that the position will be correct to a general indication of the location within the UK. Any advice on this will be very welcome.

ADLINGFIELD: Private airstrip

NOTES: Here again, learning about the existence of this strip was due to an AAIB report, EW/G2007/09/27 concerning an accident involving the Rans S6-116 Coyote II G-BVOI.

Adlingfield does not appear in the index of most modern road maps, (or Google Maps) and the time involved precludes making wider searches.

Anyway, this airstrip was reported to be near Goole .To the east I now suppose?

In January 2019 I was kindly contacted by Ray Evans and he thinks the strip was probably near Adlingfleet.

Adlingfield as per the AAIB accident report does not exist near Goole but it may actually be Adlingfleet which is south east of Goole. I once found an airstrip there but today cannot see it on Goole Maps.
