ADSDEAN: Private airstrip or just temporary landing ground?

Operated by: The Mountbatten Estate  (Apparently rented)

Location: In Asdean Park near Funtingdon

Period of operation: Early 1930s only?

NOTES: A visit by the Prince of Wales in the DH80A Puss Moth G-ABBS is recorded in July 1931. On the other hand Louis Mountbatten certainly flew in,  if not owned the DH84 Dragon G-ACRO. Might this have been based here, at least from time to time?
