ALBRIGHTON: Military aerodrome
Military users: US First Army 32nd Field Artillery Brigade
Location: Here again a classic quandry needed to be resolved. There are two ALBRIGHTON locations in SHROPSHIRE, one near Shrewsbury and another near Telford. It would appear that the ALBRIGHTON which is E of Telford is the most likely location.
Period of operation: 1944/5 only?
NOTES: Two Piper L-4 Grasshoppers were based here.
