Alderney flying boat terminal

ALDERNEY: Flying boat terminal (Temporary?)

Operated by: Imperial Airways and/or one of the airlines they took over? Without too much doubt used by British Marine Air Navigation flying out of WOOLSTON? (Southampton)

Location: On a pontoon, in the harbour on the N coast

Period of operation: 1924 only? Possibly mid 1920s to mid 1930s?

NOTES: Many years ago I saw a photograph of a flying boat here, adjacent to the pontoon 'terminal'. I do wish I could gain permission to reproduce it here, but unfortunately I have completely forgotten what the source was. Could anybody help?
