Location: In/near Almondsbury which is just W of the A38 and W of the M4/M5 interchange

This is novel, amongst the roughly 4500 flying sites listed in this 'Guide' this is the only picture of a current flying site still under construction. The second picture shows how it was in 2021.

ALMONDSBURY is the new base for the Great Western Air Ambulance and NPAS helicopters, that have relocated from Bristol Filton
