Note:  The first three pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©. The area view is from my Google Earth © derived database.

Location:  In the SE corner of the hospital grounds, E of the A6 and S of the A514. Just SE of Londonderry city centre

Period of operation: Unknown?  Seriously upgraded in recent years (2023)

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location.

As an aside, Londonderry is just west of the border with the Republic of Ireland. Note how the road numbers change in the area view. Having driven from the Republic to Londonderry in recent years, the only sign that you have crossed the border, is the change of the road numbers on the roadside signs.

Since Brexit, and who, (in my opinion of course), in their right mind could have voted for that stupid notion (?). Given that the arguments 'For' were just a pack of lies. This 'border' situation has been creating no end of problems, very difficult to resolve. I find it very interesting that those who believe the vote for leaving was won are badly mistaken. It was a draw, and anybody familiar with the compilation of statistics knows full well that the result falls within the bounds of statistical error, and therefore the referendum should have been held again. With the pack of lies fully exposed.

Only blundering idiots could have dreamt up a notion of having a 'border' in the middle of the Irish Sea. Hmmm...and who led that idea?
