Archers Farm

ARCHERS FARM: Private airstrip

Operated by: Mr Roy Beckham?

Location: In/near Wardington, (probably E of), a village on the A361 about 3.5nm NNE to NE of Banbury town centre

Period of operation: 2000s only?

Runway: 350 grass

NOTES: Apparently the base for the Ikarus C-42 G-MROY. Anecdotal evidence only for this strip and, as so many others, probably operating under the ‘28 day rule’.

Some research appears to show that the map provided for this site is probably accurate, certainly for providing position within the UK. However, a close look at the area on Google Maps, (latest image 2009 in 2016), appears to show nothing resembling a 'defined' runway. Any advice on this will be most welcome.
