Location: In/near Askern village on the A19 roughly 6nm north of Doncaster city centre
Period of operation: From 2005 to 2016 perhaps?
Runway: 2008 08/26 575 grass

In 2006 the Rotosport MT-03 G-CDZZ gyroplane took up residence here. Apparently the first ever UK factory-built BCAR Section T-compliant example. So now you know.
It seems hard to determine just how long this airstrip existed. Looking at Google Earth there appears to be a trace of a short airstrip in 2002? I saw the distinct airstrip from 2008 to 2013. By 2018 any trace had gone.
If anybody can kindly offer advice about this airstrip, this will be most welcome.
