NOTE:  It has to be said, that although Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', has kindly drawn our attention to this location, there has been to date, (September 2022), no concrete proof of it being used. The evidence being purely circumstantial. However, if our guess is correct (?), the following details apply.

Operated by:   The Gyrocopter Company UK Ltd

Location:  N of York Road, just SW of Askham Richard village, about 1.5nm S of RUFFORTH aerodrome, and roughly 5nm WSW to SW of York city centre.

Period of operation:  Unknown?

MORE NOTES
The Rotorsport UK MT-03 gyrocopter G-CFCG was registered to this address from July 2008 to September 2010. But, clearly no proof as such that it was flown from here? However, my first picture indicates that the minimum run available in the field immediately to the east. was around:  15/33   170   grass

More than enough for operating G-CFCG out of. As is so often the case, one of the principal aims of this 'Guide' is to record our astonishingly rich and diverse history of flying sites, very often with just a clue or two. If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be very much appreciated.
