AYLESBURY LAKESIDE: Balloon launching site

Aylesbury Lakeside in 1994

Location: At the southern end of Watermead Lake, just west of the Lakeside housing complex. Just E of the A413 and roughly a couple of miles N of Aylesbury town centre.

NOTES: This picture was taken by the author from a considerable distance in 1994. It is included in this Guide to illustrate how hot air ballooning, especially with passengers, has become a popular pastime and indeed commercial business, in the last three decades.
