Runway: 1990: 06/24 500x20 grass

1992: 06/24 550x20 grass

2000: 06/24 710x20 grass

Note: At some point, up to around 2009 or so, there was another runway;   15/33   360   grass

NOTES: I am of course somewhat guessing that all these names, BAGBY, EAST POINT and THIRSK refer to the same site - and suspect there might be at least two sites involved here. Obviously FELIXKIRK to the north could also be referred to as THIRSK. Can anybody help resolve the issue?

In 1977 it appears five aircraft were based at EAST POINT: Tipsy T.66 Nipper 2 G-ASXI, Pitts S.1C Special G-AXNZ, AJEP Tailwinds G-BDAP & G-BDJC and Jodel D.120A G-BDWX.
