Location:  Just S of the A57, about 3.5nm W of Sheffield city centre

Period of operation:  Unknown?  From the 1980s it seems until about 2003?

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. If anybody can kindly offer more advice and information, this will be much appreciated. Pictures are always most welcome.

What I find very interesting is the, more or less, mirror strips just south. Perhaps used for model flying?
