Location: Just E of the M61, just SE of junction 8, about 1nm NNE of Chorley town centre and roughly 7nm SSE of Preston city centre
Period of operation: Unknown? Perhaps from around 2005 but in recent years the 'H' marking is faded - perhaps an indication of it being no longer in use?
NOTES: It is definitely not the intention of this 'Guide' to even try and list all the private company helipads in the UK. A hopeless task at best of course. But, sometimes, when the opportunity to 'grab-a-snap' of a helicopter on Google Earth, especially a pretty serious example of 'chopperdom' as in this case, an inclusion seems justified.
