Location: W of Bradwell Waterside, SW of Weymarks, NW of East Hall, 6nm NNE of Southminster

NOTES: One of the WW2 airfields equipped with FIDO - to disperse fog.

It seems that Spitfires from BRADWELL BAY were used, with good results, as bombers (not unusual later in WW2). Equipped with two 500lb bombs they were employed attacking V.1 and V.2 launching sites.


Later became part of the site of a nuclear power station.
