BURNHAM WICK FARM:  Private airstrip     (Aka BURNHAM-ON-CROUCH)

Location:  About 1.5nm E of Burnham-on-Crouch town centre

NOTES:  This is a most interesting site, to say the least. It seems that various sources agree there has been an airstrip here for several years, and indeed the pictures above appear to prove this. However, looking back through Google Earth images over the last twenty years it appears the airstrip falls into disuse from time to time.

A very odd set of circumstances indeed, as there certainly appears to be a hangar here. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
