CAERLEON RACECOURSE:   One off exhibition of flying

Whilst giving exhibitions of flying at ELY RACECOURSE in Cardiff in March 1914, it was arranged that Gustav Hamel, (then a major super-star aviator), would fly across to CAERLEON RACECOURSE to give a demonstration on the 26th March.

Location:  Just W of Caerleon, about 2nm NE of Newport town centre
