Location: 1.25nm N of Calbourne, 4.5nm W of Newport town centre
Period of operation: 2018 certainly, possibly 2019?
Runway: 05/23 340 grass
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location.
Clearly short-lived, as so many airstrips are, the 2020 picture above appears to show the airstrip is no longer used? There was no sign of it in Google Earth © images in 2017.
As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome.
