Castle Hill

Note: This map only gives my rough guess as to where this airstrip may have been. Close enough for a position within the UK, but hardly exact of course. If anybody can kindly offer advice on this subject, it will be most welcome.

CASTLE HILL: Private airstrip (also known as STONNALL)

Operated by: Mr B R & Mr S Hildick?

Location: In/near Stonnall which is SE of Brownhills and very roughly about 1nm E or so of the A452 and the A461 junction

Period of operation: 1970s only?

NOTES: It seems that in the mid 1970s the only aircraft based at CASTLE HILL was the Garden GY-80 Horizon 180 G-AVMA.
