Period of operation: 1984 to -


Runway:  Roughly 07/25   400   grass    (With a further dog-leg section,  WNW at the western end)

First picture: This DH60G Moth G-AEBV (ex HB-OKI) was registered out of sequence on the 10th March 1977. The original G-AEBV was a Blackburn L.1C Bluebird IV. It was registered to Wessex Aviation and Transport on the 20th May 1985 and probably based here until the 27th November 2000?

Second picture: Having spent about half an hour trying to trace this aircraft - I failed. Advice will be most welcome. (See note below)


NOTES: As can be seen, I have very little information regarding this airstrip. If anybody can kindly provide more, this advice will be much appreciated. This said, it is well worth looking up Chalmington Manor on the interweb - you might well be surprised.

In 2022 was kindly told by Mr Graham Frost that the Tiger Moth T5672, (G-ALRI), is now living in Thailand.
