Location: Just N of Chartham Hatch village, S of the A2 trunk road, 2.5nm W of Canterbury city centre
Period of operation: ? Probably with a distinct runway from c.2008? Then to -
Runway: Initially: 06/24 250 grass
Later: 06/24 390 grass
NOTES: It is always really good news to find new airstrips appearing in the 2000s, especially when so much bad news surrounds GA during this period. As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome. Pictures of course are very much appreciated.
Just one comment though. The 2019 picture above appears to show that the hangar has gone. Why would this be?
