Childwall

Note: This map gives a pretty close idea of the position of this site within the UK. However, if anybody can kindly provide a more exact location, this advice will be most welcome.

CHILDWALL: Temporary Landing Ground

Used by: It appears that, at various times during this era, this site was used by Henry Melly, S F Cody, Claude Grahame-White and Compton Patterson

Location: The Polo Club grounds on Dunbabin Road. The Childwall district is about 3nm ESE of Liverpool town centre

Period of operation: 1909? Or perhaps used even later until 1913?
