Incident report
Incident report

Graham also found this incident report dated 28th April 2020. How interesting to see that the aircraft was described as a "biplane". It is in fact an Aeroprakt A22-LS Foxbat, a high-wing monoplane, acquired new by the owner in 2015. We do not know if the strip was used from this period, but the 2020 picture above clearly shows a hangar then in place.

Regarding the "biplane" description, it is I think interesting to note that although eye-witness accounts have been largely discredited by experts as being reliable, much store is still set by them, by the press, media, law courts etc, etc. Also, if you might think that this airstrip seems a bit marginal, see my listing for PENCRAIG where the U.K. agent for the Foxbat was once based.

Note:  This later picture from Google Earth © dated 2021 clearly shows the hard section of 130 metres at the west end of the airstrip.
