Location: 4nm N of Bude
 

Period of operation: 1939 to 1945
 

Runways: WW2:        ENE/WSW    823   grass        N/S   686   grass

 

NOTES:  In the later part of World War Two the U.S. First Army had two Piper L-4 Grasshoppers were based here.
 

From 1985, it seems, RAF CLEAVE  became a radio research station - and perhaps still is? Apparently part of GCHQ.
