CLERKHILL FARM:  Temporary aerodrome

Operated by: Sir Alan Cobham's 1934 Tour 


Location: Probably S of the A950, just to the W of Peterhead town centre

Period of operation:  10th May 1934


NOTES: In December 2018 I was very kindly contacted by Kenny, (see 'Comment' in Peterhead flying sites). As far as I can see, this was the only visit by any of the Flying Circus operators in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

They had performed at MACDUFF the previous day, and HUNTLY the following day.
