The Rallye G-AZIZ
The Rallye G-AZIZ

As is so often said, a picture can be worth a thousand words, and this one was taken by Mr Graham Frost in August 1974. The SOCATA (Morane-Saulnier) MS894A  Rallye Minerva 220 G-AZIZ was first registered in the UK in November 1971. From 1973 to 1975 it was privately owned and the address of the owner was nowhere near Anglesey - so presumably it was just visiting. It was sold to Kenya in September 1975 as 5Y-AYX.

The problem now being, as he readily admits, where exactly was it taken? The airstrip appears to have been disused for many years? Therefore the location and possible runway is pure guesswork. As always in this 'Guide' if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
