Cosford 1935

Note: This map shows the position of Cosford village within the UK. As I can find no proof that the venue was the in same location as the later RAF airfield, I shall list it seperately. If anybody can kindly offer advice on this, it will be much appreciated.

COSFORD: Temporary aerodrome

Operated by: Alan Cobham’s 1935 No.1 Tour

Location: In or near Shifnal

Period of operation: 6th September 1935

NOTES: This obviously begs the question whether or not this site later became RAF COSFORD which, it appears, opened in 1938?
