CRAB TREE FARM:  Commercial helicopter facility

Note:  These two pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  Just W of the A19, WNW of Escrick village, SW of Deighton village and roughly 5nm SSE of York city centre

Period of operation:  Not known?  But very roughly between 2009 perhaps, and 2018

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. It appears to have been a commercial helicopter operation of some kind, possibly involving a maintenance and servicing service?

Either way it appears to have been quite short lived, perhaps being operational for around ten years. If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome. Pictures of course are always much appreciated.
