Location: In and just S of Cromwell village which is just W of the A.1 and about 5nm N of Newark-on-Trent town centre
Period of operation: ? to early 2000s
Runway: 09/27 425 grass
NOTES: I was probably quite lucky to capture this airstrip, finding the image on a Google Earth image in 2000. Four years later it had disappeared, and the location of the hangar some 400m north had been replaced with a small housing development. If anybody can kindly offer more advice, this will be most welcome.
