Location: 2nm SSE to SE of Crossmaglen village, 7.5nm NW of Dundalk town centre

NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location, which appears to be little used?
Presumably this location is known by another name locally?
Trawling back through Google Earth © images appears to reveal a rather interesting situation in that the 'wall/hedge' at the southern end, perhaps something akin to the jumps used at horse racecourses (?), seems to have been removed? If this is correct, it extends the runway to 430 metres.
As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated.
