Location:  Just E of Storridge village on the A4103, about 6nm SW of Worcester city centre

Period of operation:  Unknown?  Certainly 1990s to ?

Runway: 1999 =    04/22   400   grass        Later reduced to 360 metres

NOTES:  Being at times a pedantic old sod, (always some might say), I was interested to note that although listed as being in WORCESTERSHIRE, the western end of the runway was in HEREFORDSHIRE.

This is also a very good example of just how difficult it can be to try and determine when an airstrip was operational. But of course, this is not at all important for this 'Guide', which seeks to just record the existence of a flying site. Nevertheless, it is I think very interesting to see that in the 1999 picture above, the runway has been mown to be very clearly defined. Whereas in the 2007 picture it is not - yet we can clearly see an aircraft. So, when was it operational? Or indeed, is it still is?

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can offer advice, this will be most welcome. Plus of course, pictures are much appreciated.
