Note: This map only shows the general location of Dalmuir within the UK. If anybody could kindly provide a more exact location for the Beardmore factory, this advice will be most welcome.

DALMUIR: Company aerodrome and slipways

Operated by: Wm Beardmore & Co Ltd

Location: In Dalmuir on the N bank of the Clyde, about 8nm WNW to NW of Glasgow city centre

Period of operation: 1915 to 1921

NOTES: Can anybody now add more information? I feel rather uneasy that an aerodrome existed alongside the Beardmore works?
