Location: In/near Dalrymple where the B742 and B7034 cross about 4nm SSE of Ayr town centre
Period of operation: 1930s only?
NOTES: During one period, (presumably in the 1930s?), Mr Weir who was the Chairman of the Cierva Company used to regularly commute in a Cierva Autogiro from his home in Dalrymple to the companies premises in Cathcart, Glasgow, landing in the company sports field alongside the offices.
