Location: Just SW of Ripe village, about 5nm E of Lewes town centre
Period of operation: Unknown? No sign in 2015. Perhaps from 2018 (?) to -
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. There is no intention to even try and record all the helipads in the U.K. There are far too many, and the emphasis is on attempting to find what might be described as 'major' helipads, such as those located at hospitals and air ambulance stations, military facilities and so on. Even so, I do like to give examples of private helipads, especially those involving some kind of associated business enterprise, such as hotels, restaurants, horse training stables, race courses of all varities, etc.
