Rather oddly the images shown for 2007 and 2012 were, when I looked at Google Earth in June 2020, identical. I doubt if much if anything had changed but it does make dating the runway layout change something of a guess.

Location: Just E of the A338, about 0.5nm NE of Hungerford town centre

Period of operation: 1984 to -


Runway(s):  It would appear, although rather faint, that up until 2007 or 2012, there were two runways in use:

About:    04/22   490   grass             18/36   490   grass

2017:     02/20   500   grass


NOTES:  If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome. Also, I am quite convinced that the markings in the field just to E are those for model flying. Does anybody know which club uses this site?
