Location: Just S of the A303, roughly 1nm ENE of Deptford and NE of DEPTFORD AIRSTRIP 2
Period of operation: ? to circa 2010/11?
Runway: 04/22 680 grass
NOTES: If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
This area of WILTSHIRE is most unusual in having, I'm pretty certain, more airstrips and airfields in roughly a twenty square mile area, than anywhere else in the UK. At the last count, eight of them. Two being RAF aerodromes in WW2.
