DEWARS FARM: Private airstrip (also known as MIDDLETON STONEY)

Location: Just N/E of Middleton Stoney, fairly near and N of the crossroads of the B4030 and B430, about 3nm W to WNW of Bicester town centre

Period of operation: 1970s only?
 

Runway: NE/SW   457   grass

 

NOTES: In the mid 1970s it appears two aircraft were based here; The Beagle D.5/180 Husky G-ATCD registered to the Oxford Flying & Gliding Group and Jodel D.112 G-BAUH belonging to the Walhouse Flying Group.
