NOTES: An excellent example of how many grass airstrip runways tend to fluctuate in length and breadth over the years, and/or just possibly, how many pilots Flight Guides do seem to vary in the information offered?

In 2022 Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', pointed out that the SAN/Jodel DR1050 Ambassadeur, G-ARRD, registered to four owners, was based here from 13.04.64 until 08.02.68.

In the mid 1970s the Piper PA-28 Cherokee 180 G-AVZR registered to G K Knowles & Ptnrs was based here.
