DONNYDEADE:   Private airstrip and model flying

Location:  S of the A4, W of the A29, about 2nm SSE of Dungannon town centre

Period of operation:  Circa 2005 (?) to -


Runway:  18/36   305   grass


Model flying:  As the first two pictures clearly show, there was in the early days a model flying area set at an angle across the main runway. The 2014 picture shows that by this stage it had gone.


NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing this airstrip out. As always, if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
