Location:  Just SW of Doversgreen. W of the A217 and 1.5nm S of Reigate town centre

Period of operation:  1990s(?) to circa 2016/17?

Note: According to Google Earth images this airstrip had gone by 2018

Runway:  2015:  08/26   440   grass    (Between markers)

Note:  It seems it might have been a tad longer in the earlier days - possibly up to 480 metres?

NOTES:  I have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this airstrip and model flying site. As often happens with some airstrips where there is no sign of a hangar for an aircraft to be based, the questions mount up. Why, who, where, when etc.

I will make no bones about it, I would certainly not have believed it even existed until Graham pointed it out. It seems incredible that such a strip could exist for so long, almost next door to REDHILL, and not so far north of GATWICK. But, as the pictures prove - it did.

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
