We had 2 of them at Halton, GMYFI and GMYKA, both of which were tremendous fun to fly albeit a bit slow. Bill Sherlock, the importer, would often turn up at Halton with a 'special' which he had just put together, mostly with a different engine. The 'standard' engine was the Rotax 503 50hp 2 cyl 2 stroke, but he also at various times fitted a 4 stroke Rotax twin, a Rotax 912 4 cyl 4 stroke and the 64 hp Rotax 562 water cooled twin. Needless to say, the 912 powered one was incredible; after a ground run of about 5 feet, it would leap into the air in a horizontal attitude and climb like a rocket.
