Note: The first picture was obtained from Google Earth ©, the second from the East Meon History Group archive.

Location:  Just S of East Meon village, which is about 4nm WSW of Petersfield

Period of operation:  Circa 2006

Landing area:  Rectangular, orientated roughly NE/SW, maximum run 245 metres

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost to thank for pointing this site out. It appears that a Microlight Fly-In took place on the 1st and 2nd April 2006. Presumably the flex-wing seen outside the village hall flew in and was wheeled round? Was this the only occasion when microlights visited this site? If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
