Location: Just NW of Fallford village, 7.5nm E of Lockerbie and 18nm NNW of Carlisle town centre
Period of operation: Unknown?
Runway: Not defined but roughly; 17/35 and about 470 grass
Note: In so many cases a runway is not needed for many light aircraft operations, just a suitable field.
NOTES: It has been a constant problem in compiling this 'Guide' to provide, in so many cases, that sufficent proof exists to establish the existence of a flying site, and that is certainly the case here. Some evidence exists, but it is hardly strong and convincing.
But of course, this is precisely what a 'Guide' is all about, to ask questions rather than provide answers.
If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
