Durham flying sites

Note: This map only gives the position of Durham within the UK.

DURHAM see also RAMSIDE HALL

DURHAM: Temporary aerodrome

NOTES: On both the 6th and 7th July 1935 Sir Alan Cobham’s No.2 Tour displayed in/near Durham. At that time this would have been a major civic event of course. Therefore presumably the site they used is still known? If anybody can kindly offer advice on this, it will be much appreciated.

DURHAM TEES VALLEY AIRPORT see TEESIDE
