Earls Farm Down

Note: This map only gives the location of BOSCOMBE DOWN airfield.

EARLS FARM DOWN: Military Landing Ground

Military user: RFC  (Royal Flying Corps)

Location: Apparently on part of the present day BOSCOMBE DOWN airfield

Period of operation: WW1 (any further details known?)

NOTES: May have been a Landing Ground used by NETHERAVON or UPAVON or both? A search for more information appears to reveal nothing so far. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
