NOTES: I had registered this airstrip before, but in the February edition of Light Aviation magazine, a lovely feature article appeared regarding how Mr David Stokes had been operating his gradually modified Jodel D.112 (G-AWVZ) from here for over thirty years.
NOTE: It has often been a problem in compiling this 'Guide' to ascertain what exactly a given site is actually known as. As this site appears to be equally well known as 'EAST PENNARD' and 'LOWER WITHIAL FARM' I have taken the decision to list both.
With regard to the complaint in 'Comments' below, I think I can say that the amount of aerial activity from this strip will be quite minimal? I rather suspect that the activity the lady refers to comes from HENSTRIDGE?
If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.
