Note:  These pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Operated by: 1990s to early 2000s: Scanrho Aviation

2020:  Ms Georgina Burman

Maintenance: 2001: Scanrho Aviation

Location: N of A47, near East Winch village, 4nm ESE of Kings Lynn

Period of operation: 1986 to -

Runway: 1990/2000: 10/28   850x16   grass
Note: I now have no idea where this information came from, but a look at the pictures seems to suggest that the runway was never this long? Or was it?

A look at Google Earth in 2016 shows a picture dated 2007 which appears to show two runways fanning out from a common point at the western end.
These were 10/28  680   grass  and  11/29   605   grass

However, I now suspect that 'runway' 11/29 was in fact used as a taxiway?

In 2020 the runway was:  10/28   650x25   grass

NOTES: Today the airfield has its own web-site:  https://www.eastwinchairfield.co.uk

The airstrip was founded in 1986 by Colin and Peter Burham.

From 1990 to 2009 it seems crop spraying aircraft were operated from here by Scanrho.
