A QUERY.   Does the red line I have drawn on this picture show a pre-existing runway?   12/30   355   grass

NOTES: Initial info source AAIB report EW/G2010/10/05.

Without much doubt this location is one of the most unusual I have come across. The changes in layout over the years being a major feature. Has there been particular reasons for these changes?

If anybody can kindly add advice and more information, this will be most welcome. Plus of course, pictures are much appreciated.
