Note:  All four of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Operated by: Mr P A Jackson

Location: S of the A171, N of Egton village, roughly 5.5nm WSW of Whitby town centre

Period of operation: 1990s to -

Runway: E/W   400x100   grass

NOTES:  Looking at a Google Earth image dated 2009 it appears that the longest run would be:

06/24   610   grass       The 08/26 run was   480   grass.

There were not any clearly defined runways as such. And I am of course assuming that the whole field could be used, which does look to be the case.

However, looking at the site again in 2020 it appears that in 2012, there is a roughly defined runway of:

07/25   300   grass

Also, a close look at the 2018 picture shows a defined runway of:  07/25   220   grass

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
